Our Mission
At All Saints Anglican Church, we are committed to proclaiming the Word of God, administering the Sacraments, living in Christian Fellowship, and Praying together.
Proclaiming the Word: God spoke uniquely and without error in the words of Holy Scripture. We believe that the regular proclamation of God’s Word in the pulpit, in weekly classes for all ages, in counseling, and in our daily conversation roots it deeply within us, brings about faith in Jesus Christ and causes us to know him better. We teach faithful adherence to Holy Scripture, the need for repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, and the ongoing, transforming work of the Holy Spirit. At All Saints, learning and living the Word of God defines who we are, what we believe, and where we are going. (Romans 10:14-15, John 3:16-18, 2nd Timothy 4:1-3, Hebrews 4:12)
Administering the Sacraments: We are part of the Anglican Communion—a worldwide fellowship of churches that trace their history back to the Reformation in England. Following the ancient practice of the Church, we baptize in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and celebrate Holy Communion each week. We believe that right administration and reception of the sacraments is necessary for a full and growing Christian life. (Luke 22:19-20, 1st Corinthians 11:23-25, Matthew 28:19-20).
Living in Christian Fellowship: We believe that the Christian life is meant to be lived in fellowship with other believers and that such fellowship is necessary to grow into the “full stature of Christ.” Our fellowship is open to all who want to know the Savior. We are committed to missions, evangelism and acts of mercy so that more might come to know Him. (Acts 2:42, Hebrews 10:24-25, Ephesians 4:1-16)
Praying Together: The first Christians “devoted themselves to the Apostle’s teaching, the fellowship, the breaking of bread and the prayers.” Prayer is therefore at the heart of what it means to follow Jesus and a great privilege for all believers. At All Saints, we are committed to praying together in worship, in planning meetings, in our learning opportunities and in our homes. (Acts 2:42, Luke 11:1-13, 1st Thessalonians 5:16-18)
